Last weekend, during our trip back from Jakarta, my best friend AJ showed me an awesome website: TED
If you never heard about it before (as I did until last Monday), TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design; it started as a non profit organization that dedicated itself to spread new (and definitely awesome) ideas that can change our mindset, behavior, attitude or even start a new worldwide trend (in a positive way of course) across the world.
So, we both watched some videos, mostly related with musics since AJ is a musician, to entertain us during the 130 km trip back home. Among those videos, I instantly fall in love (and become a huge fan of) with one speaker named TOM THUM; a beatboxer with a huge musical talent and a pure entertainer. I bet you gonna think the same way after watching his videos. ^^
Yesterday, I remembered about him again, and youtubed his video. As expected, all of them showed how superb his talents are and how he life his passion in music through beat-boxing. You can see that he really enjoy himself and always feel enthusiast and positive about his music; and even by watching him through online videos, those excitements and positiveness just automatically contagious to its viewers.
One important thing that I learn from watching this beatboxer wizard is that if you do anything with full of passion, it obviously creates a huge energy and positive attitudes, not only to yourself, but moreover to people around you who see it and constantly inspired by it. This is a great way to spread happiness and positive aura to the world. Inspired others by doing what you like, what you are passionate about. Because, when you do so, people will recognize your sincerity in it, and they will appreciate and respect you for it; thus it intrigues them to do something similar with their passions. And by it, the contagion will never stop.
Can you imagine how much happiness will be created if everyone in this world are willing and able to life their passions?? Yeah, of course, doing it is not as easy as writing it here, but, I personally believe that at least we can start with a sincere intention to do so (for our own self) and also support others to do it.
For me, I have also struggled to live my passion, but I know that the time will come soon, and all that I need to do so is preparing my self to embrace it and let myself grow further when the opportunity and the right timing finally come.
all the best for all of us!
